We're glad you gave it a tri!

Congratulations to all of the finishers of the first ever Mortal Man Triathlon! 19 of our 30 registered participants met the challenge of completing the distances of an ironman triathlon within one month, and crossed our virtual finish line! We had folks in their teens, 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, and 60s participating in this event. Finishers ranged in age from 13 to 65; awesome!!!

Together we covered a combined distance of 5405.37 miles; that's over one fifth of the way around the earth, or, enough mileage to swim, bike, run from anywhere in the U.S. to Kona, Hawaii and still have enough left to complete the Ironman World Championships several times! This was not an easy fitness challenge, so kudos to all of you who had the gumption to give this a shot. Your body and mind will reap the benefit of your efforts...and who knows what finish lines it will lead to in the future.

If there is enough support we may do another Mortal Man in the not-too-distant future. Thanks to all for your mutual support and encouragement, and good luck in your future events. In the meantime, keep swimming, biking, running and smiling!

Triing our best,
The race administrators.
